Brain File #02 · Free
Your Writing Voice
Fifteen minutes now so your drafts stop sounding like an assistant wrote them.
First sentence to type
“Set up my writing voice.”
What it does
- Asks for three to five things you wrote yourself and measures how you actually write - sentence length, openers, sign-offs, the words you never use.
- Writes a voice profile and shows it to you before saving anything.
- From then on, 'write this in my voice' drafts in that voice, with a correction loop that keeps the profile current.
What it will not do
- Will not build a profile from text you did not write - it asks where each sample came from and refuses AI-written or templated ones.
- Will not imitate a named third party's voice.
- Will not keep customer names, phone numbers or prices from your samples.
Install - three minutes, pick one
- claude.ai, Customize, Skills, Add, Upload skill - upload your-writing-voice.zip. Start here.
- claude.ai, Projects, New project, Instructions - paste everything below the dashed line; replace it with your finished voice profile afterwards.
- Claude Code or Cowork - save it as CLAUDE.md in the folder you write in.
Needs
Any Claude plan. Three to five things you wrote yourself. About 15 minutes.

This file is free and asks for nothing in return - no email, no account. Memory availability differs by plan and account; if memory is not available in yours, the paste-into-a-project version does the same job.
